Besides playing in Biloxi, Rob and Clyde have had many other projects
that they have collaborated on. (See Clyde's page). When Rob is not
playing drums for Biloxi, he has many other interests to fulfill his
time.
Rob has a vast knowledge of the audio and visual field. Everything
from building lasers, working with computers, to producing and live
mixing other bands and shows. He also loves the outdoors, especially
in his boat with dancers from the casino shows.
Rob also enjoys playing paintball when he can, and tries to get
Clyde to play! Rob has a trailbike that he never gets a chance to
ride, and a tennis racket that very seldom gets swung, but playing
his drums takes the place of all.
Rob plays Tama Starclassic drums with a compliment of Sabian and
Zildjian cymbals. Rob comes from a diverse musical background starting
with an entry into big band and jazz, then moving into a more aggressive
style of rock.
After many years of successful projects, Rob formed the hard rock
group Slump with his brother John, and friends Dayton Krajicek and
Danny Breazeale. After a long and progressive stay with the group,
they all parted ways to pursue different projects.
After a short break, Clyde approached Rob to play with him in the
Rebecca Allen Project, a local morning DJ for WCPR.
After playing several festivals in the southeast region, and opening
for such bands as Filter, the GoGo's, and Danzig, the band came
to a halt when lead singer Rebecca Allen joined the broadcast team
at local ABC affiliate WLOX
in Biloxi. Soon after, Clyde and Rob joined together to reform the
new incarnation of Biloxi. Rob looks forward to the success of their
new CD BILOXI III "In the Wake of the Storm " and beyond.
