Mark
is a product of the New Jersey music scene. After leaving for a
short while to study at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood California,
he returned to New Jersey to begin work as a studio musician in
New Jersey and New York.
While playing in bands on the Jersey scene, Mark fired off audition
material to Ozzy Osbourne and Ronnie James Dio. Mark's fellow New
Jersey axe slinger from Zyris, Zak Wylde, got the job with the Oz.
He then joined forces with Dean Fasano (Message, Richie Sambora
group, Jon Bon Jovi, and Prophet) to write and record. One of the
songs, Fine Line, which transpired from working with Dean Fasano
became the title track on the 1998 MESSAGE release. Mark then moved
on to write, record, and tour with Persian Risk out of Orlando Florida.
The band was fronted by vocalist Carl
Sentence (Krokus, Geezer Butler Band, and Paul Chapman's Ghost).
While Mark was an active member of the Florida music scene, he studied
with vocal coach, Ron Feldman (Vocal coach for Jani Lane of Warrant).
Thereafter, Mark moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast where he took
a shot at a solo career and the release a couple of independent
CDs. Mark had been involved with several projects with Clyde Holly
and Holly House Recording Studios. These projects brought Mark to
where he is now as a proud member of BILOXI.
